Distaff Day is usually on December 7th, I will be hosting mine on the 11th.

What is Distaff Day? In history it is the day after the holidays that people start spinning again. Folks would have taken some time to rest and this was the day of celebration that the new year brings with spinning.

I have invited my Guild: Mt. Lassen Fiber Guild and you as well. Come by with a spinning wheel, drop spindle or try out one of my own.
