Portland, Maine Roadside
Winter Weather
This inspiration for this piece came from walking down the snowy sidewalks of Maine. Prior to this I had lived in Portland, Oregon with rain in the winters for eight years. I loved the concept that the walking sign wasn't possible in some of these snow drifts.
This piece is full of colorful semi-transparent layers. I enjoyed playing around with the abstraction of line, shape and colors. It is 16" wide by 20" tall. It is 7/8" thick.
This was painted in 2013. It has appeared in a 10 years later Painting show that I was in at the Maine College of Art. I have hung it up in my own home for years. I have decided that it is time for it to have a new home.
This can be shipped within the US only. I have added $16 for shipping for this piece. If you live in Chico, you can choose the pick up option and we can schedule a visit.
