This is a small study that I created in my Figure Painting course at MECA. This is the first of many portraits of the model named Mary. Mary has a head full of bright red hair with a white stripe. This was probably made while I was 20.

This is a small piece that is oil painted with a palette knife on canvas paper. It would be great to go into a little frame. $27

In 2014, I was given my first course to teach at MECA. This was ten years after graduating. It was a Life Drawing course for the summer Pre-College students. I saw Mary was still on the list. I had her model. She shared that she remembered me as a student. You will see why because there are many of her.
