Wild Female Portrait
Fun with glue.
This was created in my Color and Drawing class while I was a student at the Maine College of Art. This was my favorite portrait that I created of her.
I would have started with a pencil drawing. I then used ink. The watercolor could have been watercolor and marker. I then layer hot glue over the top.
It is on watercolor paper. It is 9" wide by 12" tall.
I loved that on Facebook two teachers that I worked with at my high school job also created work of Mary. She would work at the local collages in Portland, ME.
The framing for this piece will have a floating frame. There is hot glue on the surface of this. This won't be up against the glass.
